From product URL to product film
Symph has two dedicated areas for product videos: Shop videos and Social ads. Both turn a public product URL into a short AI-generated product film. Import the product, check its name and description, and select one to three reference images. Choose portrait, landscape or square, with optional synchronized audio.
Shop videos starts in landscape (16:9), without sound, with an editable template focused on details, supported uses and a steady closing view for a product page. Social ads starts in portrait (9:16), with a visual hook, purposeful cuts and a final product view for Reels, TikTok and feed campaigns. Format and audio remain adjustable. Both areas use the same import, review and download workflow and share the organization's existing drafts and video history. Previous Content Studio bookmarks redirect to Shop videos and retain video result links. Download the MP4 to add it to a shop or publish it yourself; automatic shop embedding and social publishing are not included.
The Symph homepage opens on a CSS 3D ring of 9:16 example videos in the Navy and Apricot landing palette, then keeps the existing headline and CTAs. The clips are stock footage and dashboard placeholders, not results generated by Symph; reduced motion shows a still ring. Creator and UGC features remain on the roadmap.
New personal accounts start with Symph after email verification. An optional company URL suggests basic brand information for review. The detailed dashboard tour is optional, while starting the first product video with Symph is required. Each verified account receives one complimentary 480p, ten-second silent video without activating a plan. Once the job is confirmed, the dashboard opens and Symph continues to the result. Existing accounts and invitation-only joiners retain direct access.
After reading the company website, the success checkmark clears automatically. The next screen puts the product URL and the Import → Review → Create steps first, with the starter-video specifications below the editor.
Free keeps your real dashboard and provides three labeled product-video demos. After the complimentary first video, Pro, Ultra and On Demand enable further product imports and generation. Workspace owners/admins select the plan in the dashboard. During this preparation phase, plan changes have no prices or checkout.
After selection, start directly with a product URL. Your brand profile and social connections are optional and editable later under Content setup and Social accounts. The profile guides visual atmosphere; each creation area supplies its own initial format. Instagram and TikTok connections show profile and status; publishing and analytics will follow later.
Product-video creation uses Seedance 2.0 Mini through BytePlus to generate a 10-second video at 720p for plan-enabled generation, or 480p without audio for the complimentary onboarding video. Creation requires an activated, funded BytePlus account. Product import works independently of the API key.
Your organization keeps a shared gallery of drafts and generation jobs. Filter by All, Ready, In progress or Drafts, continue a draft and open finished videos in a dedicated player. The creation workspace follows your dashboard palette and shows your product references beside the editor on desktop.
The player fits portrait (9:16), landscape (16:9) and square (1:1) videos without cropping. Use the play/pause, timeline, sound and fullscreen controls directly in the browser. If playback fails, retry or download the MP4 to watch it on your device.
Preview and download completed videos within 24 hours. The gallery shows how much time remains and removes playback and downloads when the link expires, while keeping the history. Three hours before expiry, the person who started generation receives a reminder through the app and email according to their personal notification settings, with a direct link to the video. Delivery depends on the platform and email provider; downloaded copies remain yours.
The importer supports public pages with product metadata. Pages requiring login, blocking automated access, or loading all product data exclusively with JavaScript are not supported yet. Product-only reference photos work best; real faces can require additional BytePlus permissions.
The URL importer distinguishes physical products from SaaS using published metadata and relevant page text. Review the detected type and correct it when needed; ambiguous pages require a choice before generation. The complimentary first video suggests a four-shot concept suited to the product: application and detail shots for physical products, or digital compositions and interface highlights for SaaS. You can edit the creative direction from the start or reset the demo template. Editing product information updates an untouched suggestion and preserves any direction you have written yourself. The starter remains ten seconds, 480p and silent. Shop videos and Social ads suggest their own editable direction. Reset template restores the current area's suggestion; clearing it uses the standard product film.
Each generated video's library card and result view include a collapsed Used prompt section with a copy button. It contains the exact text submitted for that generation, including your direction and product references. Prompts and history remain accessible after the 24-hour video link expires. Copying does not start another generation or archive the video file.
Recreate a video reference
In Social ads → Video as a template, add a public YouTube link or upload an MP4/MOV reference alongside your own product. TikTok and Instagram links currently need the video file. YouTube analysis without a file generates from the extracted scene plan; an uploaded video also guides generation directly.
Review the scenes, camera movements, lighting and timing, then generate the full template length. The dashboard reference mode can compose videos longer than ten seconds. Re-prompt and regenerate one scene, preview its versions, and adopt a replacement without regenerating the others. The previous full export remains available until the new one finishes. Original music and voices are not copied, and identical reproduction is not guaranteed. Reference mode requires an enabled workspace plan and separately configured analysis, private storage and media processing; the complimentary demo keeps its existing limits.
